This Production & Turnaround Policy explains how Packaging Hype handles order processing, artwork approval, production scheduling, standard turnaround times, rush requests, and circumstances that may affect the completion of custom packaging orders.
Because we manufacture packaging to individual customer specifications, production timelines depend on each order’s requirements and approval status.
A custom packaging order generally moves through three separate stages:
1. Order Processing: Generally 1–3 business days
2. Standard Production: Generally 8–10 business days
3. Standard U.S. Shipping Transit: Generally 3–7 business days after production is completed
These stages are separate. Shipping transit time is not included in the stated production time.
Actual completion and delivery dates may vary depending on the circumstances described in this policy.
Packaging Hype generally requires 1–3 business days to process an order before standard production begins.
Order processing may include:
The processing period may take longer when additional information, revisions, approvals, or verification are required.
Submitting an order request through the Packaging Hype website does not start the production timeline.
Standard production generally begins after all requirements necessary for manufacturing have been completed, including where applicable:
If customer action is still required, the production timeline may not begin until the outstanding requirement is completed.
Our standard production time is generally 8–10 business days after the order is ready for production.
This timeframe applies to standard production under normal operating conditions.
The actual production time for a particular order may depend on factors such as:
If an order requires a materially different production schedule, Packaging Hype will communicate the applicable timeline as part of the order process.
For standard processing and production estimates, business days generally mean Monday through Friday, excluding applicable public holidays and other days when the relevant operations are closed.
Weekends and applicable holidays are not normally counted as standard production business days.
Final artwork approval is an important part of the production process.
If artwork, a proof, or another required design element is awaiting customer approval, production may remain on hold.
Once the customer provides final approval and the other production requirements are met, the order can proceed according to the applicable production schedule.
Customers should carefully review artwork before approval because changes requested after approval may affect the production schedule and may not be possible once irreversible production has begun.
Changes requested after an order has been confirmed may affect the original production timeline.
Examples include changes to:
If the affected production stage has not started, Packaging Hype will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the requested change.
A revised production timeline or additional charges may apply depending on the nature and timing of the request.
Once an irreversible production process has begun, certain changes may no longer be possible.
We may place an order on hold when information or action necessary for production is outstanding.
Examples may include:
Time during which an order is on hold due to an outstanding customer requirement is not considered active production time.
Rush production may be available for certain orders but is not automatically available or guaranteed.
Rush availability depends on factors including:
Customers requiring expedited production should communicate their deadline before final order confirmation.
A rush schedule is considered confirmed only when Packaging Hype expressly confirms its availability and any applicable additional charges.
No universal rush-production timeframe applies to every custom order.
Where a physical sample or prototype is requested or required, the sample process may add time before full production begins.
Sample turnaround depends on the packaging structure, material, printing, production method, and other project requirements.
Confirm any applicable sample timeline separately for the particular project.
Approval of a sample may be required before full production begins.
Production schedules may occasionally be affected by the availability of specific materials, specialty papers, finishes, components, inks, or other production inputs.
If a requested specification becomes unavailable or is expected to cause a significant delay, Packaging Hype may contact the customer to discuss available alternatives or a revised timeline.
Do not make any material substitution that materially changes the approved order without appropriate customer confirmation.
Although we make reasonable efforts to complete orders within the applicable production estimate, circumstances may occasionally cause delays.
These may include:
When a material delay affecting an order becomes known, Packaging Hype may provide an updated estimate where reasonably possible.
Packaging Hype may perform reasonable production and quality checks as part of the manufacturing process.
If an issue is identified before dispatch, additional time may be required to review or correct the affected packaging.
Where reasonably possible, resolving a production issue before shipment takes priority over dispatching packaging known to differ materially from the approved specifications.
An order is considered produced when the applicable manufacturing processes are complete, and the packaging is ready for the next applicable fulfillment stage.
Production completion does not mean the order has been delivered.
After production, the order may require final preparation, packaging, carrier collection, and shipping.
Standard U.S. shipping transit generally takes approximately 3–7 business days after production is completed and the shipment enters the applicable delivery process.
Shipping time is separate from:
Carrier delays occurring after dispatch may also affect the final delivery date.
Packaging Hype provides free standard shipping within the United States under its standard shipping terms.
International shipping and expedited delivery arrangements are handled separately according to the applicable order and Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Standard processing, production, and shipping times are estimates based on normal operating conditions unless Packaging Hype expressly confirms a specific arrangement in writing for an individual order.
Customers with a fixed launch date, event date, retail deadline, or other time-sensitive requirement should communicate the required date before approving and paying for the order.
We will review whether the requested schedule is reasonably achievable before confirming any special timing arrangement.
Packaging Hype is not responsible for delays resulting from customer actions or omissions, including delayed:
If a customer delay affects the production schedule, the estimated completion date may be adjusted accordingly.
If an order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved specifications due to an issue attributable to Packaging Hype, the customer should report the issue within 7 calendar days after delivery.
We review claims under our applicable Refund & Return Policy and other relevant order policies.
Packaging Hype may update this Production & Turnaround Policy to reflect changes in production processes, operational requirements, shipping arrangements, or applicable business practices.
We will publish the current version on this page with its applicable revision date.
